I arrived home around 7:00pm after around 20 hours of time in airports and on planes enroute from Haneda to home.
So very tired–too tired to cook and didn’t trust myself to drive so I just ordered a pizza and a salad. Besides, after being gone for 3 weeks I didn’t have any food in the house. So a very low key night.
I made a Ketel One with a few drops of Lillet Blanc and a couple of regular green olives. Simple but beautiful.
I sipped my martini while unpacking and organizing to leave again the next morning for New York to see the Boss on Broadway and maybe lift a few Guinness with the Irish in Manhattan.
