Brittany and I officially kicked off our quest to conquer the Columbus Area Ale Trail. 50 breweries in 6 months.
We are the right team for this job.
We got off to a solid start last Saturday. We met Shannon at Three Tigers brewing in Granville for a nice lunch of Thai and of course beers. That’s the spirit of the contest it seems.
Then we headed to Dankhouse Brewing and then Trek brewing — both in Newark. Dankhouse was my favorite. Great outdoor grounds with lots of tables and fire pits. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside and sipped our beers and enjoyed life.
So we have our first 3 stamps. This is a long and dangerous journey so we must be committed and diligent to reach the end. But as I said, we are the right team for this assignment.
