Crocker Park

I met a friend and her husband for drinks at Crocker Park. We had planned dinner, but they have an 8-year old daughter who was not feeling so well; so they decided to get food for take away.

So I wandered next door to Hype Park and cozy-ed up to the bar with the NY Times and had an over-priced steak and martini. Which, interestingly enough, is the foundational roots of this blog.

But the feature photo is from the night before when Terri, Shannon and I all ordered martinis at the restaurant where we had dinner before seeing Young Frankenstein at Short North Theatre.

My family is the best. Really.

At Hyde Park, I did get a nice NY strip and went with Belvedere Vodka for a change. Two big blue cheese olives. And to round out the over-indulgence of the privileged, a shrimp cocktail and caesar salad with extra anchovies. Who do I think I am?
