Full Harvest Moon on Friday the 13th

It was a dark and stormy night. Really.

I started at the Fairmount, but the crowd was too much. The storm was building, but had not yet hit. But you could feel it coming.

I had a quick Ketel One with a twist and moved along. Beautiful spot though and I will return when things are a little less crazy.

After, I stopped at The Standard to have a Stella and say hi to Sayeed and got home just before the lightning and thunder show. It was impressive. Lights went off and on a bit and I found out the next day that much of the city still did not have power Saturday morning.

Sort of a routine night, other than the storm, at a time when routine feels like it’s not enough.
