Friday was a frantic day. Very busy at work; but I had to take the little dog with me because I needed to leave directly from there immediately after a meeting with my boss and some finance folks to meet Ed-n-Rita for lunch and to do the dog transfer. We had a nice lunch at Olive Garden. I was a little sad to have to be leaving for two weeks. Missing the big family party and leaving my dog behind once again.
After work, I rode the motorcycle to the Irish Pub and had a nice cigar and a couple of Stella’s. Then, for FNM, over to McCormick and Schmick. I changed things up and went Gin this night; Hendrick’s with a twist. Was so good I had another. And a ribeye with mushrooms. Quiet and easy night. I read some from ‘Passage to Juneau’ as the bar was pretty quiet.
No worries. A worthy FNM on the eve of another long business trip.
